Today our cloud went through a massive upgrade. We have switched from Owncloud to Nextcloud. It is running on a TrueNAS box so management and upgrading is now as easy as a click of a button. We are still working out how to get an SSL certificate installed using LetsEncrypt, but there is progress on that front.
We are also going to be adding apps to the cloud administration dashboard to allow users more features in the future. Some of there will include 2FA, on server encryption, and might even include some social media integration. There is an included email reader and a calendar. There is also a collaborative workspace where you can share files with other users and use workflow to manage these. It also includes a contact book for users on the system. I hope these features will be of benefit to our users and make this cloud experience more than just file storage.
